graph paper posters

Using pen and ink on graph paper, I make poster-sized art pieces with a focus on typography and abstract geometry. In addition to their aesthetic purpose, they function as a public diary, visualizing my stream-of-consciousness for eagle-eyed lovers of 6-point-type.

postcards

In an effort to stay in touch with friends back in the USA, I sent 100 hand-made postcards in 2016. fu review: Issue 2

The FU Review is an independent literary journal created by the students of the master's program in English Studies at the Freie Universität in Berlin. For the second issue I served a dual role as designer and artist, responsible for page layouts as well as cover art, title pages and centerfold art. All art elements were made by hand—including letterpressed cover type, rubber stamped title pages and typewriter bylines.

notebooks

Much like DaVinci, all of my best ideas begin as scratchy text and visuals penned directly into notebooks that will someday be worth millions. An unfiltered visual and textual stream-of-consciousness, the notebook serves as sketchbook, observation journal, diary and muse. In truth it's mostly un-crossed to-do lists.
